Visa Free Entry to the Jeju Area
1. Eligible Applicants
- People arriving at ports of entry in Jeju without a visa for travel and transit, excluding people from the following countries whose visa free entry is limited.
- Limited for no-visa entry in the Jeju area (23 countries)
- Ghana, Nigeria, Republic of Kosovo, Sudan, Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Cuba, Palestine, Yemen, Egypt, Gambia, Senegal, Bangladesh, Kyrgyz, Pakistan, Somalia, Uzbekistan, Nepal, Cameroon, Sri lanka, Myanmar
2. Period of Stay / Permitted Areas of Travel / Range of Activities Allowed
- 30 days / Jeju
3. Condition of Permission
- You must use a direct international flight or ship to Jeju Island
K-ETA
- Nationals eligible for K-ETA, who wish to enter the Republic of Korea without a visa, must obtain K-ETA approval before boarding the flight or ship.
- The K-ETA fee is 10,000 KRW (approximately USD $7-8, online payment fee is charged separately) and is non-refundable, even if the application is denied.
- K-ETA assessment typically takes 72 hours or less. However, please note that it may take more than 72 hours due to an unexpected increase in application or other circumstance.
